The Role

We are seeking two highly tenacious, ambitious,  and detail-oriented individuals to join our three-month summer internship program. As a Serica intern, you will work on real projects that will have a tangible impact on our business and our client’s success. Receiving broad exposure to different areas of the company, you will make contributions in research & analysis, sales & marketing, and project management. Achieving success in this role will require you to be self-motivated to learn new skills and adapt to our fast-paced working environment.

This internship is not limited to college seniors or recent graduates. We also invite and encourage experienced professionals who may be looking for a career change to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Be an outstanding brand ambassador at all times, representing the company at various events and conferences.
  • Develop your own network by helping to grow and shape professional communities around your passions and interests, enhancing your personal brand, and creating opportunities for the company.
  • Assist the Engagement Manager in conducting market research and analysis, provide reports and assist in the development of market entry and growth strategies.
  • Help create marketing assets and content to be distributed to wide a variety of stakeholders.
  • Welcome new and existing clients, partners, and government officials to our Hangzhou office.
  • Fulfill basic administrative and organizational tasks to help day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Other reasonable ad-hoc duties assigned to you.
Requirements
  • Native Mandarin speaker with intermediate English or higher.
  • Bachelors Degree in a business or technology-related field.
  • Maturity, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information and sensitive subject matter in the course of daily work and meetings.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to anticipate potential changes or shifts in priorities and take effective preemptive action.
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written – with the ability to explain complex ideas, pitch compelling value propositions, deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail orientated, able to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple requests, and deliver quality work in a fast-paced multi-project environment.
  • (Highly preferred but not essential) Previously studied or worked in the USA or the UK ideally in the technology, finance, or professional services related area.
